Mike has worked in a number of settings, which include hospitals, outpatient clinics, and schools providing a wide range of services such as, counseling, interventions, addiction treatment, and psychoeducational evaluations. His primary interest is in finding the potential in each individual and discovering together how to go about making that potential a reality. He understands that a child’s behavioral difficulties can potentially stem from their academic struggles and affect their self esteem and motivation. It takes commitment to a process, good diagnostic work, and investigation to uncover what may be occurring for a child. He is acutely aware that not every child adheres to the same approach to learning as in a one-size fits all approach. He is not just an evaluator, he is an investigator working for the good of the child.
